Yoga Therapy

Private session with Yoga Therapist and mental health clinical trainee, Mandi. Yoga therapy is the application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote physical, mental, and emotional health, specifically tailored to the individual’s needs and health conditions. Let's work together to develop a plan to create more ease and reduce suffering in your life. Private sessions are for anyone wanting a one to one yoga experience. Yin Yoga

Class will begin with breath work and somatic movements. Yin asanas (postures) will be held from 2 to 5 minutes and different variations will be demonstrated so each yogi can find their perfect asana (posture). Yin yoga targets the connective tissues of the body helping with elasticity and circulation. Class will close with a guided meditation.

Soma Yoga

Soma Yoga is a unique blend of somatics (neuro muscle reeducation) therapeutic yoga and hatha yoga. This class is appropriate for any level of yogi. Class will always begin with a body scan, breath work, somatic movements and classic asana postures with a variety of leveling options for yogis to individualize their practice. Class will end with a guided meditation and savasana.

Hot Stone Restorative Yoga

This 90 minute restorative yoga practice incorporates longer holds of yoga postures from 5-15 minutes. The body is supported completely by props to encourage deeper relaxation for the tissues of the body as well as the nervous system. Guided breath practice begins this practice and guided meditation closes this practice. Gentle somatic practices are offered before restorative poses to encourage muscle reeducation and release of muscle tension. Hot stones are used with each pose to encourage and deepen the relaxation.

Ayurvedic Health Coaching

Ayurveda meaning science (veda) of life (ayur) is often referred as yogas sister science. Dating back more than 5,000 years Ayurveda offers a holistic approach to living in rhythm with the seasons and provides guidance on healthy living and ways to enhance our well being on the physical, mental, social, and spiritual layers. Ayurveda is focused on keeping an individual in balance and recognizes that this looks different for each individual. In Ayurvedic health coaching you will create a plan in partnership with your counselor. You will learn your dosha and how to live in more peace and harmony with your self. Each sessions is 60 minutes in length.

Cupping

Cupping is an alternative therapy that has been around since ancient Egyptian times. It works by creating suction on areas of the skin with specialized cups that stimulate healing. Cupping has many benefits including circulating and cleaning the lymphatic system, loosening connective tissues, can be helpful for pain management, and clears stagnation in the body, to name a few benefits. The best results for cupping are often cumulative. The number of sessions required are unique to each individual and what they are seeking. Session last approximately 30 minutes. Skin does need to be exposed for this session and massage oil needs to be applied to the skin.

Rejuvenating Face Cupping Facial

Face cupping has been used around the world for generations as a part of regular skin maintenance. A 60 minute face cupping treatment uses small cups that move throughout the treatment (no marks left on the face). Lymphatic movement, increased circulation, increased nutrients to face, reduced edema and puffiness, softening of lines and wrinkles are all benefits of face cupping. Relaxation will be enhanced with the use of hot stones and hot towels. The neck, shoulders, and upper chest are included in this treatment and a light body oil is used on these skin surfaces, please dress accordingly in casual clothing. $75

Yoga in the Kitchen

Learn how to bring yoga into your kitchen. Concepts from yoga’s sister science Ayurveda will be shared. Mindful eating, seasonal eating and using food to bring balance to your body, mind and spirit. Learn to make ghee and how and when to use it. Enjoy seasonal ayurvedic beverages and make and take a spring seasoning blend.

Aerial Flow

Beginner friendly aerial yoga class using a single point hammock to flow through a variety of yoga postures. Class begins with a mat based warm-up. The remainder of the class uses the aerial hammock to explore yoga poses in a unique and supportive way. Opportunity to fully invert using the hammock as a support will be offered to all students. Final relaxation can be enjoyed in the hammock or back on the ground on the mat.

Please do not wear any jewelry for this class as it can snag the hammocks. It is advised to not attend class with a full stomach or a completely empty stomach. Long pants and t shirts are preferred to ensure coverage of the armpits and backs of knees.

Aerial Sound Bath

A gentle mat based warm up and breath practic with an opportunity to set an intention for the sound bath will begin this practice. A sound bath is an immersive, meditative experience where participants are "bathed" in sound waves produced by various instruments such as singing bowls, drums, chimes, and tuning forks. As you lay in the aerial hammock sound waves wash over you, promoting deep relaxation and a sense of peace. The vibrations can be felt physically as well as heard.

Sound Bath

Enjoy a gentle sound experience from the comfort of the aerial hammock. Once comfort is found in the hammock or on the floor with props a guided breath practice will be offered. The remainder of the one hour class participants will be invited to relax and listen to the sounds.

Zen Break

Spend 30 minutes learning practical tools to cope with stress. Examples of yogic tools presented in this session include: somatic movements to release tension in the body, noticing your breath, and learning ways to use the breath to change your nervous system state. Spending time in relaxing postures with the support of blankets and props for deep relaxation, guided meditative practices, or discussing how to support the body with seasonal transitions. A class devoted to introducing students to a variety of practices to find more ease.

Rest Rituals- exploring eastern practices to promote peaceful sleep

A holistic workshop that combines ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with gentle yoga and modern sleep science to promote restful, rejuvenating sleep. Ideal for anyone struggling with insomnia, stress-related sleep issues, or those simply seeking better sleep hygiene. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat and props or use the ones provided.

Dress comfortably and feel free to bring a water bottle and journal. Participants will be invited to try self oil massage on the hands or feet, dress accordingly as the oil can impact clothing. Students will be offered teas that can support sleep. All participants will receive a special sleep supporting gift with registration!
